Three Wiser Women

Dear Blogging Friends,

Many thanks for all the beautiful words and prayers in the last few days. I want to tell you about my friend and show honor to someone who has more than earned it. I am not prepared to do so right now. I still wanted to get back and say hello and let you know how much your encouragement has meant to me this week.

My hubby commented that I have not been blogging and was disappointed when he went to check today that there was nothing new on my blog. It is late and after a long day which included services for my friend and all nine of us still sick, many with fever, it is too late for me to write much. I hate to let my sweet hubby down so I will share with you something a little more lighthearted that brought a smile to my face.

My ever wise mother gave me this Christmas card. She knew someone who has given birth and had a new born seven times would be able to appreciate it.

Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh are nice and all, as are the silver spoons and baby booties but what does a new mom really appreciate? I for one can say the best gift I ever got was when my sister stocked my freezer and ran errands for me after the birth of our Elisabeth. How wonderful to be able to sit and hold my newborn endlessly while someone else made sure the necessities were taken care of for the rest of the family!

  1. Oh I like the card :)

How are you doing Chili :)

  2. That card is perfect! What a fun one for your mom to send to you.

I hope you are doing OK, Kat, in light of everything happening. I'm thinking of you.

  3. Love it!!! Isn't that the truth!!
