It Takes A Dedicated Man

What do you mean digging a path to the grill and throwing burgers on isn't the first thing everyone does when their patio is under 29 inches of snow???

We had to dig a path to the wood pile. Our cars our lost under the drifts. The roads are impassable. But nothing can stop a man who's in the mood for a burger.
Yes, that is right. We reached record snow fall for the season at Reagan National. It is going to be twelve degrees. When I asked Allen if he would like burgers for dinner he, in fact, wasn't kidding when he said he would light the grill.

Nothing, not even a blizzard, can come between a man and his stomach.

  1. Hi Kat
I loved seeing your hubby grilling burgers out there in all that snow! What determination he has! We saw on our news reports that your area had record snow falls. I hope you are managing to stay warm and have plenty of food.

  2. This is too funny. I love a grilled burger but not enough to dig through all that snow!

  3. He sounds like my dad! Dad will grill in any weather :) Actually, he moved the grill under the awning of the porch on Friday before the snow got really bad so that he could use it if he wanted to :)

We got only about a foot or so of snow, but that was on top of another foot, so we've got a lot :)
