Just So You Know...

Dear Faithful Friends and Blogging Buddies,

Over the next few days, instead of my usual posts, you will find some little bits that I've saved or clipped from here and there to hopefully cheer you along and brighten your day.

Our family has been enduring a painful trial for the last week.  It has begun to take an emotional and physical toll on us all.  We will be spending the long weekend together to recuperate and focus on time with the Lord and each other.  We appreciate your prayers for strength to face the adversary and discernment on how to move forward.

My dear friend sent this to me... I hope she does not mind me putting it here.  It has been a wonderful comfort to me these last few days both as a reminder of the her love and a reminder of the Lord who is in control of all that happens here.

  1. Kat, that is beautiful!

Whatever we go through in life, I always remember this.....

Satan can try it, but GOD WILL DENY IT!

Sending you much love, ((((hugs)))), and prayers!

    Blessings, sweet friend~

  2. I'm sorry you all are going through this hard thing. I will pray for you!

  3. I will be praying for you and your family.

  4. dear In the Valley,

"He's the God of the Valley,
    the God of the Hill,
    and no other can prosper,
    or altar His will.
    For whatever His purpose
    He surely will do,
    And whatever His promise
    He'll carry it through!"

(I tried to find the hymn these words are part of, but could not. So it may not be quite right, but the thought is the same.)

There was a time in my childhood when my family was going through a very rough time. Every night my mom would play the piano and sing hymns after we were in bed. I remember her singing this one often.

    Psalm 42;8

  5. Prayers to you and your family for whatever you are going through.

I am going through old posts and wanted to catch up on some blog reading. My hubby and son My hubby and son are at a friend's watching UFC, so I have some "guilt-free" blog reading time :o)

    Blessings & Aloha!
(have a safe and Happy July 4th! and if you get a chance to stop by, I would love to share some of our son's music with you!)

  6. The first of many...thank God for remaining faithful.
