Pink

The other evening, while we were waiting for dinner to cook, Elisabeth and I decided we needed some bright Flamingo pink on our nails.
While we waited for our nails to dry, we had a little chat.
And when Brianna came along with the camera, I asked her what is it like to have toes so adorable, people can't resist taking pictures of them?

  4. Hi, Jules.

Glad you stopped by. I need to add this info to my post… it seems everyone loves that color as much as I do! It is OPI Flamenco Pink. (But don’t tell Ellie… she thinks it is Flamingo pink. ☺

  10. dear Pinked,

Every girl needs her feet babied now and then.
A few weeks ago my 12yo home~girl and i were going to have to be apart for a week while she visited another homeschool friend in a nearby state, while i traveled to a business conv. hundreds of miles in the other direction. We both really wanted mani's and pedi's before our trips,...but living in the country, time and money does not always permit the luxury....so she said "Mom, why don't you let me give you one?" So.....she did! and then i helped her with hers. I love the memory of the contented silence and the chats we shared that night. And it was just what we needed to sustain us through the distance in the days ahead.
Our feet and fingers aren't the only things that benefit in times like that are they?!

    love,
    Those baby~soft feet are
    just so sweet
