Yesterday, I did something I haven't done in FOREVER.  The last week has been so hectic with lots of unexpected creeping into an already packed week.  Spring cleaning, a last minute building project, holidays, family celebrations, doctor visits, company, a Bible study, a trip to the airport, finals to study for... and all the regular day to day.  Maybe it was all that. Maybe it's my growing girth.  Whatever the reason, I am just plain worn out.  So yesterday, after a morning of errands and appointments, I came home.  The kids were playing in the sandbox.  I spread a blanket in the grass nearby and laid down to do NOTHING.  I just listened to the giggles, the bumble bees buzzing around, the wind blowing through the trees and the occasional car driving by.  I watched the branches blow above me, Ellie playing with an inch worm, and the clouds moving through the sky.  For an hour or more I didn't think.  I didn't work.  I didn't calculate... list... figure... determine or even sleep.  I didn't do ANYTHING. It was sheer bliss.
