Low Tide Fun

Tuesday morning the tide was very low and the tide pool began to recede.  The kids built a dam to keep the pool.

Meanwhile Carmella and I built a sandcastle for Elsa and Anna. Yeah, I know compared to the boys my sandcastles are lame.

The kids aren't the only ones hooked on puzzles.  Allen and his souduko book are never far apart.

The clouds were amazing all day.  They were so low it seemed they touch the beach.  And yet it was perfectly sunny.

We took lunch over to the sandbar for a low tide picnic.

And Nathaniel employed that engineering mind to created a ferry.
Elisabeth loves searching for sand dollars
